You should call canon support about the problem. They may have a solution or they’ll have you ship it out for support. My lens was broken and I ended up having to ship it out to them. They shipped it back in a week and a half!

if i were to look at the viewfinder, it just says “busy.” it does open but the screen is completely blank and therefore, i can’t take any pictures at all. i am sooooooooo sad :’(
